Attorney-General stresses on importance of raising achievement level in implementation of sentences
SANAA, July 9 (YPA) – A meeting of judicial inspectorate in the Attorney General’s Office, chaired by Attorney General Majid Mujahid al-Derbabi, on Monday discussed aspects related to the role of judicial inspection in improving the performance of prosecutors.
The meeting reviewed the difficulties facing the functioning of the Parquets and ways of dealing with them and the steps that must be taken in order to enhance their constitutional and legal performance, as a safety valve for society to safeguard rights and freedoms.
The meeting approved the formation of four committees to examine the inspection reports submitted by the field committees on the work of prosecutors who took place during the last period.
At the meeting, the Attorney-General stressed on the importance of the Inspectorate’s duty to supervise, monitor and evaluate all judicial, administrative and financial work in the Parquets to ensure judicial outcomes that contribute to the preservation of public and private rights.
The Attorney-General also stressed on the importance of raising the level of achievement in the implementation of the provisions, especially issues related to public funds and the establishment of an organized mechanism to distribute cases to members that will contribute to facilitate the procedures of litigation for all citizens.
