One Syrian killed, 8 arrested during Israeli ground incursion in western Damascus countryside

DAMASCUS, June 12 (YPA) – A Syrian young man was killed and eight others were arrested during an Israeli ground incursion into the western countryside of Damascus early Thursday morning.

According to Syrian sources, Mohammad Hamada, a young man, was killed after being directly shot by Israeli occupation forces.

The sources also reported the arrest of eight young men during the Israeli incursion into the town of Beit Jinn in western Damascus.

This comes after an Israeli airstrike on Sunday, which injured two young men, one of them critically, in the Beit Jinn area in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.
