ADEN, Dec. 03 (YPA) – The government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition on Sunday approved a new price increase in the prices of oil derivatives in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.
Informed sources confirm that the government-affiliated oil company has increased the price of a 20-liter gasoline can to 26,200 riyals after approving a previous increase on November 21.
The sources explained that the amount of the increase was 500 riyals per liter, so that the price of one liter was sold at 1,310 riyals.
This came after the city’s oil company distributed a shipment of adulterated fuel, which caused widespread damage to citizens’ cars.
The government has increased fuel prices in Aden for the third time since November, impacting basic goods prices and exacerbating the suffering of citizens.
