Amran Cement Factory announces price reduction

AMRAN, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The Marketing Council of Amran Cement Factory approved in its meeting on Monday, chaired by the General Manager of Factory, Eng. Abdel Fattah Ismail, reduction of cement price of cement.

The meeting approved reducing the price of a bag of cement to 3500 riyals, and the price of bulk cement per ton to 67 thousand riyals.

Eng. Abdel Fattah stressed that reducing the actual value of cement, which is one of the basic materials necessary for construction, comes within the framework of preserving the status of Amran Factory cement users.

He pointed out that the current work on the coal burning system project contributed to reducing costs for production and contributed to competitiveness and increasing the market share of the factory’s production.

Abdel Fattah called on the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to activate the competition law and ensure sustainability of national factories in supplying the local market and providing them with a product that will enhance the capabilities of competition between national cement factories.
