30 leaders in Southern Revolutionary Movement declare defection in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 07 (YPA) – About 30 leaders from the “Southern Revolutionary Movement” announced their defection and the abolition of their political integration within the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s project in the southern provinces.

In a news statement, among the leaders, who were defected from the component led by “Fadi Baoum,”was deputy head of the political bureau of the Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Movement in Abyan, Mohammed Dambaa Al -Nakha’i, who confirmed that the rearrangement of their ranks are within the framework of the “revolutionary movement”.

The statement stated that the leader “Fadi Baoum” no longer represented the Movement in any capacity, pointing out that they had previously announced that their partnership with the STC had failed.
