Most schools close their doors in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 06 (YPA) – Most schools and kindergartens in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the coalition, closed their doors to students on Wednesday, in response to the call for a strike called by the “teachers and Educators Association” of the Southern Transitional Council of UAE.

The Association confirmed in a statement its rejection of all illegal and irresponsible methods by the coalition government towards teachers’ issues in Aden and the rest of the southern governorates, indicating that the strike will continue until all legitimate teachers’ demands are met.

The statement of the association held the government headed by Moain Abdulmalik fully responsible in giving the teacher all his rights without decrease, calling on teachers to unify classes and unify their word.

The association’s statement called for an end to all arbitrary measures by transferring teachers’ salaries to banks and private banks, in addition to providing full health insurance for teachers.
