Scattered showers expected to fall on various parts of Yemen

SANAA, 05 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology expected on Tuesday scattered showers on various parts of Yemeni provinces.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that the rains would prevail over the areas of Sanaa, Amran, Saada, Marib, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra province.

It stated that the desert areas will be exposed at temperature of 39- 40 °C, while the coastal areas and Socotra Archipelago will reach its temperature between 34-41°C.

The center explained that the winds may range its speed at 20-40 knots in Socotra Archipelago, and 12-22 knots on the eastern and southern coasts, as well as Aden Gulf.

It called on citizens in the hot areas to protest them from the warm sunshine.
