Shipment of qualitative weapons arrive at Hadramout

ADEN, Aug 03 (YPA) – A shipment of qualitative weapons has arrived for the factions of the Islah-run First Military Region in the districts of Wadi and Desert of Hadramout, eastern Yemen.

Media sources said, “the shipment of weapons to the first district brigades, which takes the city of Seiyun as its headquarters, was transported through the desert road for 3 consecutive days.”

The sources added that the shipment was including ammunition and medium and light weapons, including modern guns and snipers, in addition to some vehicles.

The arrival of the arms shipment to the Islah factions in the Wadi and Desert of Hadramout came in light of severe military tensions with the UAE-funded “Southern Transitional Council(STC) factions, which sent armed reinforcements last week to Mukalla city, the center of Hadramout province.
