Tariq Saleh officially declares war on Islah elements in Taiz

TAIZ, July 28 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Yemeni officer, Tariq Saleh, revealed a new plan aimed at taking control of Taiz governorate, southwestern Yemen.

This came after Islah members accused “Tariq” of being involved in the assassination of UN official Muayad Hamidi in Taiz with the aim of controlling Taiz governorate and expelling Islah elements from it.

Tariq Saleh said in a televised speech broadcast by Al-Hadath channel during his meeting with the leaders of the local authority in Taiz: “Without the liberation of Taiz, Sanaa will not be liberated and we must expel terrorism from Taiz.”

He added: We must take into account that the liberation of Taiz is the nucleus for the liberation of Sana’a, and from this point of view, we must work to help the local authority by expelling terrorism from it, referring to the elements of Islah.
