US police find large amount of marijuana on Florida beach

WORLD, July 26 (YPA) -A large amount of marijuana was found  on Tuesday,  on Neptune Beach in the US state of Florida, as police warned civilians not to approach until the beach was cleaned.

Neptune Beach police said marijuana was washed ashore  near Florida Boulevard.

In a Facebook post police stated: “Before anyone starts thinking about coming out and turning this discovery into your own treasure hunt, we would advise against it.”

“After floating in the ocean for some time, the marijuana has quickly begun to degrade and rot.”
