Citizen with mental illness killed by UAE-backed factions in Shabwa

SHABWA, June 15 (YPA) – A citizen suffering from a psychiatric aliment was killed on Thursday by the UAE-backed armed factions in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

Informed sources reported that members of the “First Brigade of Shabwa Defense”, loyal to the UAE, shot a person with a psychiatric illness known as “Aram” from the city of Baihan on suspension of being an Al-Qaeda spy because his shabby clothes.

“Aram” was shot as he approached a Shabwa Defense military vehicle, and he was killed on the spot, the sources added.
