Members of intelligence Service killed in Sanaa

SANAA, June 14 (YPA) – Yemen’s Central Bank in Sanaa revealed on Wednesday two personnel of Security and Intelligence Service were killed in Sanaa province while they were tracking currency manipulators exchangers without obtaining the necessary licenses.

A source in the bank affirmed the killed were targeted while performing their national duty to the Central Bank, commissioned and coordinated by the Public Funds Prosecution.

Sanaa-run Saba agency quoted the source as saying that the bank’s leaders met with the Director of the Security and Intelligence Service, Major General Abdul Karim Al-Khaiwani, commissioned by the bank’s governor in Sanaa, and in the presence of the leadership of the Money Changers Association.

According to the source, the leaders of the bank and the association offered their condolences to Al-Khaiwani about the killing of two of the Agency and the wounding of another, as a result of the treachery they were subjected to in Jedar area of Bani al-Harith district in Sanaa.

The source called on everyone to feel responsible and to join all efforts for the public good and to confront hostile schemes in various fields.
