Sanaa warns against continuing to plunder Yemen’s mineral wealth

SANAA, April 12 (YPA) – Yemen’s Oil Company in Sanaa said on Wednesday that it would reserve its legal right to hold accountable all those involved in the process of looting oil and mineral wealth of Yemen.

The company affirmed in a news statement it would will work in every way to recover all the looted funds and wealth.

“Despite the UN-brokered armistice and the determined attempts of the President of the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government for peace, there are those who continue to plunder mineral resources to this day,” the statement added, stressing that it will work with the competent authorities to deter and stop any plundering of mineral wealth.
