Saudi officials arrive in Tehran to reopen Kingdom’s embassy

SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – The Saudi officials arrived on Saturday in the Iranian capital Tehran to discuss the mechanisms for reopening the Kingdom’s embassy and its general consulate in the city of Mashhad.

According to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the official Saudi delegation that visited Tehran consists of a technical team, headed by Nasser bin Awad Al Ghanoum.

The agency stated that the delegation’s visit came to complete what was agreed upon by the two sides during the talks session between Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan, and his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, which took place in the Chinese capital, Beijing, on April 6.
