Iran issues stern warning to Washington, Tel Aviv, vows ‘harder, unprecedented’ response

TEHRAN, Sept. 23 (YPA) – The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in coordination with the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued a military statement warning that any hostile act by the United States or “Israel” will face an unprecedented military deterrent.

The statement said Iranian forces are on full alert to deliver “harsh, direct, and unexpected strikes” against attackers and leadership in the US and “Israel”, drawing on experience gained from past conflicts.

Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters dismissed recent threats made by US President Donald Trump at the United Nations as internal propaganda intended to mask Washington’s “strategic deadlock.” It added that repeated threats amid a “deteriorating US military” signal strategic desperation rather than strength.

The military body affirmed that Iran remains a pillar of regional stability and maritime trade, framing the “illegal US presence in West Asia” as the primary source of instability. It concluded that threats will not alter power dynamics or the emerging global order, noting that Iran’s president will convey this stance before the UN General Assembly.
