ABYAN, March 12 (YPA) – Thousands of angry citizens in Abayn province, south of Yemen, have staged a protest rally for the fourth consecutive, to demand achieving justice and executing the child killers.
In the rally, which was held on Sunday in the city of Zinjibar, the provincial capital of Abayn, the participants called on the competent authorities to hand over and execute the killer of the child, Mithaq Obaid Al-Dabia.
The demonstrators marched through the streets of the city to the front of the Zinjibar Court, chanting slogans demanding for the implementation of retribution against the accused of killing the child, Al-Dabia, who was found murdered in the house of the perpetrator.
The protesters called on the judges to issue a verdict as soon as possible so that such crimes would not be repeated among the people of Abyan.
Meanwhile, dozens of shops closed their doors since the morning in response to the call for partial civil disobedience for expression of their rejection of this crime.
