Marib tribes gather to condemn burning of Holy Quran in Sweden

MARIB, Feb. 03 (YPA) – Tribes and sheikhs in Harib Al-Qarmish district of Marib province organized a protest rally to condemn the burning of copies of the Holy Quran in Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark.

In the rally, the participants called for taking courageous steps by implementing the economic and political boycott to respond to these behaviors that reflect moral bankruptcy.

They stressed the importance of the Islamic regimes’ move to expel the ambassadors of Sweden and the Netherlands from their countries and to boycott commercial goods as a first step to respond to violations against Islam.

The protesters also calling for an official apology to Muslims and accountability for the perpetrators of these crimes.
