Yemen Naval forces foil naval landing operation in western coast

HODEIDAH, June 29 (YPA) – Specialized units of the Yemeni navy and coastal defense forces on Friday foiled Saudi-led coalition forces a naval landing operation with war boats on the western coast, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The naval forces forced the invading forces to withdraw after inflicting heavy losses on them, the official added.

The official indicated that the intelligence elements of the army were able to monitor and know the movements the coalition forces which enabled the army to thwart their naval landing operation, pointing that the coalition forces used advanced war boats in their attempt.
