Earthquake hits east of Indonesia

SANAA, Jan. 03 (YPA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 on the Richter Scale hit on Tuesday the easternmost province of West Papua in Indonesia, with no reports of human or material damage.

China’s Xinhua news agency quoted Indonesia’s Meteorological and climatology agency as saying that the epicenter of the earthquake was detected 68 kilometers southwest of the town of Kaimana Regency.
