Meteorology warns of ongoing cold weather during 24 hours

SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology announced that the weather will continue to be very cold in most provinces of Yemen.

In its weather bulletin, the center pointed to the continuation of very cold weather in the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Saada, Jawf and Marib, Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, Al-Dhalea, Taiz, Rayma, Mahweet and Ibb.

It affirmed that the sky would be cloudy with sporadic rain accompanied by thunderstorms on the Socotra archipelago and its surroundings, with a maximum speed of 30 knots working on wave height and sea turbulence.

The center warned citizens, farmers, and travelers to areas where temperatures expected to drop from very cold weather.
