2 people died, 15 injured due to traffic accidents in Sanaa, others provinces

SANAA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – Two people died and 15 were injured in traffic accidents in the capital and other provinces on last Tuesday.

A statistic issued on Thursday by the General Directorate of Traffic, said that two people died and 15 others were injured, including 13 seriously, as a result of 21 traffic accidents distributed between a clash, a run-over and a coup.

It reported that these incidents caused material losses estimated at about five million and 500 thousand Yemeni riyals.

The traffic department attributed the causes of traffic accidents to excessive speed and negligence of drivers and pedestrians and it called for adherence to traffic rules and regulations and legal speed on streets and roads to avoid the risk of accidents.
