Violent clashes break out among UAE-funded factions in Aden

ADEN, Dec. 11 (YPA) – Violent clashes broke out on Sunday between the UAE-funded factions in the center of Aden, southern Yemen.

Local sources in the city confirmed that the confrontations happened in Al-Mamdara area of Sheikh Othman, between the militia of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council.

Light weapons were used during the clashes, which left a state of terror among the residents.
The sources indicated that the military vehicles were heavily deployed in the area, prevented citizens from passing through and leaving their homes.

Since its occupation from the Saudi-led coalition forces, the city has witnessed the collapse of various basic services, including electricity, health and water, and the citizens’ lack of security due to the spread of militias with multiple loyalties to Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
