Abdul Salam affirms Sanaa’s firm position to open airport, pay salaries

MUSCAT, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, affirmed on Tuesday Sanaa’s firm position to open Sanaa airport and Hodeida ports without hindrance, and to pay employees’ salaries.

“There is no seriousness or credibility for any talk about peace in Yemen unless the implementation of these urgent humanitarian files, which represent a demand for all Yemenis, are started,” Abdul-salam said on Twitter.

This statement came during his meeting on Tuesday with the UN representative in the Omani capital Muscat.
