Armed attack targets military vehicle in Shabwa, leaves 6 dead, wounded

SHABWA, Sept. 05 (YPA) – About six members of UAE-backed “Shabwa defense” militias were killed and injured on Monday in an armed attack in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen, onformed sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that unknown gunmen targeted a military vehicle belonging to UAE militia “Shabwa defense” with an explosive device that was detonated remotely, in Wadi Wasit area of Markha district, leaving about 6 dead and wounded.

The sources indicated that the militants targeted the military vehicle, while passing on the main road.
