OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 01 (YPA) -Hebrew media outlets reported that air raid sirens were activated in 180 cities, including Tel Aviv, on Friday evening after a missile was launched from Yemen toward the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories.
An Israeli military spokesperson confirmed the missile launch, stating: We detected a missile launch from Yemen.”
The Israeli Home Front Command later identified the missile as heading toward Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Tel Aviv.
Zionist Channel 12 reported that Israeli airspace was temporarily closed following the missile detection, which caused flight delays at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, as confirmed by Yedioth Ahronoth.
According to the Zionist newspaper Israel Hayom, millions of Israelis were forced to seek shelter due to the missile launch from Yemen.
Meanwhile, Israeli Enemy Army Radio reported that this was the 15th missile launched by Yemen at “Israel” in the past month—an average of one every two days.
In total, Yemen has launched 67 ballistic missiles and 18 drones at “Israel” since the resumption of the Gaza war last March, according to Enemy Army Radio.
