Iran Navy reveals three new warships to conduct combat tasks

SANAA, Sept. 05 (YPA) – Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Navy unveiled three new warships, including the “Martyr Soleimani” ship, to conduct patrols and combat tasks.

During the ceremony, the high-speed “Martyr Rouhi” missile-launching ship, and the “Martyr Dara” high-speed missile-launching ship, were also revealed.

As for the “Martyr Soleimani” ship, it is one of combat ships equipped with the latest monitoring and detection systems for radar, interception of telecommunications and electronic warfare in the field of intelligence, identification and monitoring of targets, and surface and underground traffic.

Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, said, “The Martyr Soleimani ship has a structure capable of concealment from radar with a very low cross section, and due to the nature of its design, it is capable of carrying out dual operations (missile and sea-air) in remote waters.”
