British MP talks about possible use of nuclear weapons in next 10 years

WORLD, Sept. 03 (YPA) – A senior Tory MP has said that the world could see the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the next 10 years

Speaking on Times Radio on Friday, Tobias Ellwood said the world “will change” when it comes to the use of nuclear weapons following the war in Ukraine.

“We’re in for a very, very difficult decade,” said the chair of the defence select committee.

Ellwood also said that the UK needs “another Churchill” and warned of a “massive international headache” on the horizon.

 Earlier, Conservative leadership frontrunner Liz Truss said she is “ready” to launch nuclear war if she becomes prime minister next month.
