About 118 people killed in traffic accidents in Sanaa

SANAA, March 17 (YPA) – About 118 people were killed and 743 others wounded in 587 traffic accidents during the past month.

A statistic issued by the Police general department stated in a statement the accidents happened in the capital Sanaa and other provinces.

The statement indicated that all traffic accidents occurred as a result of violating traffic rules and exceeding the permissible speed of cars, stressing the need to adhere to traffic rules to avoid the accidents.
