Mohammed Al-Houthi confirms keenness to promote university education

SANAA, March 05 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, on Saturday affirmed the keenness to promote university education and improve its outputs, in accordance with modern scientific specifications and academic accreditation.

In the graduation ceremony of the first and second batches “Yemen Hurricane” from the September 21 University of Medical and Applied Sciences, and the inauguration of electronic systems and automatic linkage with the General Postal Authority, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi indicated that the university has become a grand scientific edifice that provides society with qualified and quality medical cadres.

Al-Houthi pointed out at the ceremony, which was attended by members of the Supreme Political Council Sultan al-Samei, Muhammad Saleh al-Nuaimi and Ahmed al-Rahwi, that medical cadres in Yemen are few, a matter that calls for focus on increasing the output of medical cadres from universities to cover the need for health and medical cadres.

He stressed the need to focus on medical specialties that are compatible with common diseases in Yemen.
