Sanaa accuses Saudi Arabia of aggression, misallocation of resources

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa stated on Wednesday that events have proven to the world that the Saudi regime was the initial aggressor against Yemen without justification.

In an official statement, the ministry said the Saudi regime spends billions of dollars on acquiring political alignment, building alliances, and funding entertainment projects abroad, describing these efforts as foolish policies.

“We reiterate to this regime that peace is far less costly than squandering its people’s wealth to form alliances and buy support for its criminal acts against our people,” the ministry added.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Saudi Arabia to redirect its financial resources toward core regional issues—primarily the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque and support for the Palestinian people—as well as ensuring redress for the Yemeni people, rather than funding continued escalation.
