Health Minister, Amran Governor open hospital in Harf Sufyan district

AMRAN, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha al-Mutawakkil and Governor of Amran Faisal Juma’an opened  Harf Sufyan Central Hospital in the province.

During the inauguration, the minister noted that the opening of the project coincides with the celebration of the seventh anniversary of the September 21st revolution.

He stressed that one of the priorities of the ministry is to take care of the countryside and remote areas in accordance with the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council .

Al-Mutawakkil praised the efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), which funded the project at a cost of up to 500 million riyals.

The Minister of Health directed the start of the transfer procedures from the old building to the new within a week.

He stressed that the hospital will be provided with the medical supplies, equipment and specialized staff to the extent that resources allow.
