Bennett hails ‘UAE and Bahrain’ for signing normalization agreement

SANAA, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Marking the one-year anniversary of the Abraham Accords, the Zionist Prime Minister Naftali Bennett claimed that the agreements were unprecedented and “constitute a new chapter in the history of peace in the Middle East.”

Bennett thanked the UAE leadership and Bahrain for their courage that allowed the establishment of diplomatic relations, as well as the US administration, which has “relentlessly sought, supported and brokered to make this work.

He noted “relations between our countries exist only at the beginning, but have so far yielded many fruits.”

“Israel welcomes the conclusion of the strategic agreements signed between it and the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain,” he said, adding: “These are unprecedented agreements and constitute a new chapter in the history of peace in the Middle East.”

“His government, under his presidency, will continue to implement these agreements in pursuit of a stable, secure and prosperous Middle East for the future of our children,” Bennett said.

Bahrain and the UAE signed two agreements of normalization  with the Zionist occupation on September 15, 2020, followed in their footsteps by Sudan and Morocco.
