JAWF, Aug. 01 (YPA) – Jawf governor, Faisal Ahmed Haidar, inspected on Sunday a number of areas affected by the Saudi-led coalition’s shelling on al-Ghail district of the province.
During a visit, in the presence of the United Nations Resident for Humanitarian Affairs “OCHA” in Yemen, David Gressly, the officals briefed on the extent of the damage of the areas of the district as a result of the aggression raids that have caused suffering and the displacing of dozens of families.
The governor expressed the local authority’s readiness to provide facilities and working to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
For his part, the OCHA official stressed the importance of creating an appropriate environment that helps humanitarian partners to be present in Jawf province, after solving the problem of demining.
