Sanaa hints at new target list in Saudi Arabia featuring 10 sensitive facilities

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Hezam al-Asad, a member of the Yemeni Shura Council and the Ansarallah Political Bureau, highlighted critical telecommunications, technology, and digital infrastructure facilities in Saudi Arabia while criticizing the targeting of civilian telecommunications installations in Yemen, in a move carrying prominent political and military signals to Riyadh.

In a post on the X platform, al-Asad questioned how Saudi Arabia could target civilian telecommunications towers and stations belonging to the Yemeni people while possessing comparable strategic facilities in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and other regions.

Al-Asad listed 10 Saudi entities and systems operating in the telecommunications, cybersecurity, data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and satellite communications sectors. These include the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the National Information Center, the Saudi Telecom Company (stc), center3, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, Arabsat, and the Saudi Space Agency.

Al-Asad concluded his post with a traditional Arabic proverb reflecting the sharpness of Sanaa’s stance regarding Saudi policies toward Yemen, questioning how the Saudi regime dares target Yemen’s civilian telecommunications infrastructure while hosting such vital and strategic technology entities across Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and other regions.
