Missile attack hits US base in Deir Ezzor countryside of Syria

DEIR EZZOR, Jul. 12 (YPA) – The military base of the American occupation forces in Al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor countryside was subjected to a new attack with rocket-propelled grenades on Sunday.

Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted civil sources as saying: “Several rocket shells fell today inside the US occupation forces’ base in Al-Omar oil field in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where plumes of smoke were seen rising from the place.”

The sources pointed out that the American occupation forces closed the area, adding that it was not known whether the attack left casualties or deaths among the US troops, amid intense flight of the occupation aircraft over the area, the sources added.
