BRUSSELS, April 26 (YPA) – The European Union (EU) announced on Monday that talks aimed at reviving the nuclear deal with Iran in Vienna will resume on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the European Union’s political director, Enrique Moura.
“The participants will continue their discussions to discuss the possibility of the United States returning to the agreement and how to ensure the full and effective implementation of the agreement,” the Union said in a statement.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed that “Tehran is engaged in the nuclear negotiations out of strength, and that there are tangible developments in the Vienna meetings.”
“All parties call for the lifting of the American sanctions imposed on us, especially the United States itself,” Rouhani said, adding that they are living an important period of time.
It should be noted that the Vienna talks are taking place within the framework of the nuclear agreement and in the presence of representatives from Iran and the 4 + 1 countries only, and there are no direct or indirect negotiations on the agenda of the Iranian delegation with the United States.
