SANAA, April 19 (YPA) – US security authorities said Sunday that at least three people were killed in Austin, Texas, in a second such incident that shake the country.
Austin police said they were dealing with an ongoing shooting incident at a junction northwest of the city, calling on people to stay away, while the attacker was still at large.
According to the local ambulance service, three victims of the shooting were observed who were killed directly at the scene.
Earlier in the day, US security agencies reported that three people had been killed in a shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The Kenosha and Austin shootings became a new episode of a wide-ranging series of firearm attacks in the United States at an accelerated pace, especially six weeks ago, killing dozens of people in the country.
Last Friday, eight people were killed and 60 injured in random shootings inside a FedEx facility near Indianapolis Airport .
Recent developments have prompted the administration of President Joe Biden to examine possible actions that could be taken to limit gun rights in the country.
