SANAA, April 19 (YPA) – A powerful earthquake, measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale, struck southern Iran late Sunday (Monday local time).
According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysical Foundation of Tehran University, the earthquake hit the port of Gnawa in The Bushehr province of southern Iran.
The Euro-Mediterranean Center revealed that this is the third earthquake that the population has felt in southern Iran in just 16 hours.
Earlier in the day, an earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale hit the outskirts of Bushehr and Fars provinces in the south of the country.
