Prime Minister of Ivory Coast died in Germany

SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – Ivory Coast Prime Minister Hamid Bakayoko died on Wednesday at the age of 56 in a German hospital, according to news agency “Agence France Presse”, citing close sources.

Bakayoko suffered from a deteriorating health condition as a result of lung cancer, and he was transferred in a serious condition to a health institution in Freiburg, Germany, on the morning of March 6 for treatment, before he died on Wednesday.

Bakayoko served as Prime Minister of Ivory Coast from July 2020 until today.
