Armed confrontations claim life of citizen in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 27 (YPA) – A citizen was killed by gunmen on Saturday in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, media sources reported.

The sources said that clashes between gunmen in a conflict over a piece of land led to the killing of a citizen in ‘Bir Fadhl’ area of Al-Mansoura district.

The phenomenon of looting and attacks on lands of the state and citizens in Aden has expanded since the Saudi-led coalition took control of the city in the second half of 2015, and it increased since August 2019, after the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militia took control of the city.
