Yemenia plan makes emergency landing at Jeddah airport

ADEN, Feb. 19 (YPA) – Yemenia airways announced on Friday that flight 608, which was bound for Cairo airport, has changed course and made an emergency landing at Jeddah airport.

Flight 608, which took off from Aden airport, towards Cairo airport, landed at Jeddah airport after the pilot recorded a technical glitch in the plane, according to the Yesenia’s statement

The statement affirmed that the captain of the plane landed the plane at Jeddah airport, to take security, safety and international public safety and prevention measures.

The plane left Jeddah airport an hour after landing, continuing its flight to Cairo airport, the statement read.
