STC tightens screws on Hadi’s ministers, pushing them to flee Aden
ADEN, Feb. 08 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has trended to tighten the screws on members of “Hadi’s government” in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.
According to local sources in the city, the STC has threatened the work of the “quota government” and foiled the “Riyadh agreement” by storming a number of ministries, including endowments, foreign affairs and justice, and imposing a strike by judges on Sunday by force of arms.
The sources indicated that the STC deployed its gunmen in a number of the city streets, and at the gates of the government headquarters.
The STC militia acts push the government members to flee the city, the sources added.
This comes after the exiled “Hadi” tendency to the announcement of autonomy in the so-called Hadramout region away from the separatist STC project to restore the situation in the southern provinces to before May 1990.
