Fire breaks out in mass transit bus in Abyan

ABYAN, Dec. 24 (YPA) – A fire broke out in a mass transit bus on Thursday moorning in Abyan province, southern Yemen.
Local sources said that the fire started to ignite from the rear of the bus, which forced the bus to stop in Wadi Al-Barak near the city of Ahwar, and evacuate the passengers.

The sources reported that the efforts of the people succeeded in extinguishing the fire, noting that the bus machinery suffered great damage.
The passengers of the bus, which was on its way to Aden from Mukalla, were transferred to another bus.
