Argentina President, number of ministers enter quarantine

SANAA, Nov. 12 (YPA) –  Argentine government announced that the country’s president, Alberto Fernandez, and a number of ministers have entered health isolation in a preventive measure after they had contact with an official infected with the Coronavirus.
The government indicated that President Fernandez’s Corona virus detection test was negative, but he will undergo health isolation anyway, while the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Interior and Women’s Affairs are still awaiting the results of the tests.
This comes after a meeting that brought them together with the Secretary of Strategic Affairs in the Presidency of the Republic, Gustavo Piles, who was confirmed to be infected with the Coronavirus on Wednesday.
It is noteworthy that Argentina is among the countries most spreading the Corona virus, with 1.27 million infections and more than 34.5 thousand deaths.
The rate of spread of the virus in Argentina began to decline in recent weeks, in possible evidence that it has passed the peak of the pandemic.
