GAZA, July 05 (YPA) – At least 19 Palestinians were killed in the early hours of Saturday as Israeli occupation forces launched a series of deadly airstrikes and artillery attacks across several areas of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources reported, citing medical officials.
In Gaza City, Israeli artillery shelled the Zarqa area in the east, killing at least one person and injuring others.
Five Palestinians were also killed and several wounded when the occupation forces bombed the Al-Shafi’i School in the Asqoula area of Zaytoun, southeast Gaza City. The attack coincided with the destruction of several residential buildings in the area.
In central Gaza, Israeli drones struck a home in Al-Bureij refugee camp, killing two people and wounding others. In a separate strike, two Palestinians were killed when warplanes targeted a house in Al-Maghazi camp, with the casualties transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
In Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, Israeli occupation forces targeted tents sheltering displaced civilians, killing seven people and injuring more than ten others .
Elsewhere in Khan Younis, a father and his only son were killed in an airstrike west of the city.
