ABYAN, Oct. 28 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Wednesday between militants affiliated with Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition and tribesmen loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Abyan province, southern Yemen.
Informed sources reported that the campaign led by Ali Al-Theib Abu Masha’al Al-Kazimi, security director of Abayn loyal to Islah, in ‘Al-Mahlhal’ area in Laudar district resulted in the killing of two Islah militants and the injury of others.
Islah Party was able to impose its control over the entire Al-Mahlhal area, amid the flight of the tribal armed elements.
