North Korea: Corona is under safe, stable control

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – North Korea’s Ambassador to the United Nations Kim Song told the General Assembly on Tuesday that the situation of the Coronavirus in his country is now “under safe and stable control.”
He added, “Thanks to the wise leadership of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the anti-epidemic situation in our country is now under safe and stable control.”
North Korea announced in late July that it had detected a person suspected of being infected with the Coronavirus, months after it insisted that the country be free of the disease.
