SANAA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem called on governments to listen to the voice of the people, and indicated that the demonstrations rejecting normalization with the occupation in Arab countries come from their awareness of the seriousness of this step.
Qassem called on the Arab peoples to raise their voice rejecting the establishment of relations with the entity.
Qassem pointed out that “the demonstrations that took place in the Arab countries confirm the peoples’ rejection of all forms of normalization with the occupation,” and stressed that “these peoples were, are and will remain considering Palestine is the central Arab issue and that the Israeli occupation is its central enemy.”
This coincides with nightly protests in Bahrain in response to normalization in the country, and a condemnation of the policy of the existing ruling regime and support for Palestinian rights.
