Yemeni army opens new front in Murad areas in Marib

MARIB, Sep. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees managed on Wednesday to advance towards the west of Murad Mountain in Marib province, a military source told Yemen Press Agency.

This new advance of the army forces and popular committees towards the west of al-Jabal district represented a successful detour on Saudi-led coalition’s forces on al-Jouba front, which cut off the supply routes from the northern side.

The source confirmed that fierce battles are still taking place between the two parties on the al-Jabal front, amid major collapses among the coalition forces.
