NMC expects continuation of instability, rainy weather during next 24 hours
SANAA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected on Wednesday continuation of instability weather and heavy rains over the next 24 hours on most Yemeni provinces.
The center expected that the instability weather will continue during afternoon and evening on parts of the western mountainous highlands.
The center expected that the rains will fall on parts of Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Bayda and Thamar provinces and will extend to parts of the mountainous areas in Raymah, Mahweet and Hajjah provinces.
The monsoons are continuous around the Socotra archipelago, and its speed reaches to 15-35 knots.
The center warned citizens not to be in floods way during and after the rains and warned seagoers, ship masters, and fishermen around Socotra archipelago of sea turbulence and rising waves.
